Thank you for reaching out and sharing your perspective. Finding more ways for students to travel to campus affordably and efficiently is an important issue. We are currently in discussions with Associated Students about transportation options, including BayPass. As you may know, the SmartPass program-funded by student fees-currently provides unlimited rides on VTA local buses, rapid routes, and light rail. We expect to share more updates about additional options in the coming weeks.
Please continue bringing your stories, issues, and concerns forward-they are vital in shaping our campus community. If you are interested in the BayPass, I encourage you to share your perspective with Associated Students by connecting with their leadership through the AS Board of Directors.

Together, we sent over 400 emails to the administration. We got President Cynthia Teniente-Matson's attention, but this is just the beginning. The administration has acknowledged the issue, and now it’s up to us to keep pushing until BayPass becomes a reality for every student.
